It's time to start crafting!

I love to craft, especially Christmas crafts. Here is a sample of what I have been working on in my newly redone craft room.

Take a pile of craft sticks.

Make a few stategic cuts.

Add a few well place toothpicks.

The result is a neat little wooden sled ornament ready to decorate.

Here is one I painted. Don't look too close. I am not a great painter, but I have fun.

Have a great day everyone.

Joyce, these sleds are just so cute and your painting is great! I have a couple of huge boxes of craft sticks that have been sitting in my closet for about a decade. This would be a great project for them if only I had the patience to notch each one out.
Take care.
Aloha!

Joyce, I ordered the
dots from fabric.com I was not sure if they were going to be what I wanted so I only ordered half yard. It's 100% cotton and I was happy with them.

Wow -- those little sleighs are incredible! I'm impressed. I don't think I'd have the patience for that!

Oh, I love it! I'm in an annual homemade Christmas ornament exchange with my gal friends from high school. This would be perfect to add to my book of possible future projects. I'm making a mental note of it right now.
